These terms cover your use of EuroWattCalc. By using the calculators, guides or any other part of this site, you agree to the points below. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
1. What this site is
EuroWattCalc provides free, browser-based calculators and written guides for estimating household electricity costs and comparing energy-related decisions. It is a general-information tool, not a billing system, a supplier platform or a source of individual advice.
2. Estimates, not guarantees
Every result depends on the values you enter and on simplifying assumptions stated on each calculator page — typically a constant power draw, a constant price per kWh and no fixed charges. Real energy use, tariffs, taxes, fees, appliance efficiency and equipment behaviour can all differ from these assumptions, sometimes substantially. Treat every figure as an estimate to inform your own judgement, not as a prediction of what your bill will say.
3. No professional advice
Nothing on this site is electrical, engineering, financial, legal or safety advice. Calculator results must not be used as a substitute for a qualified electrician's assessment, a supplier's official quote, or professional advice relevant to your situation. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for any appliance and use a qualified professional for installation, wiring or safety-related work.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the calculators and read the guides for personal or professional reference. You may not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a rate that degrades service for other visitors, misrepresent content from this site as your own without attribution, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
5. Third-party links and services
Where a guide links to an external resource — a regulator, a supplier, a reference site — that link is provided for convenience. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the content, accuracy or availability of external sites.
6. Intellectual property
The design, calculator code, written guides and branding on EuroWattCalc belong to the site operator unless otherwise stated. You may reference and link to this content; wholesale reproduction of guide text or calculator code elsewhere is not permitted without permission.
7. No warranty
The site is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We make reasonable efforts to keep calculators working correctly and guide content accurate at the time of publication, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every figure remains current indefinitely.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, EuroWattCalc is not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on a calculator result, guide content, or the unavailability of the site, including but not limited to financial decisions made using an estimate from this site.
9. Availability and changes
We may change, correct, add to or remove calculators, guides or other content at any time without prior notice. We may also update these terms; continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
