EuroWattCalc provides estimates for general information only. Every number produced by a calculator on this site is a starting point for your own thinking, not a quotation, a bill forecast, a professional assessment or a guarantee of any outcome.
Estimates depend on your inputs
Every result is only as accurate as the values entered. A wattage copied from a nameplate rather than measured in use, an assumed number of hours, or an out-of-date electricity price will all shift the result away from your actual cost. Where a calculator states an assumption — such as constant power draw or no standing charge — that assumption applies to every result from that tool.
Electrical safety
Do not use a calculator result as a reason to exceed equipment ratings, modify wiring, bypass safety devices, or ignore a manufacturer's instructions. Nothing here substitutes for a qualified electrician's assessment of your specific installation.
Tariffs and market prices
Any example rate shown on this site — whether in a calculator's default value, a guide or a country page — is illustrative only and is not a claim about a current national or regional average. Electricity prices vary by supplier, contract, region and time, and can change without notice. Always use the price printed on your own contract or most recent bill.
Solar and EV estimates
Solar production depends on panel orientation, shading, weather and system condition; charging losses and vehicle consumption depend on the specific vehicle, charger, cable and ambient temperature. The solar and EV calculators on this site use simplified, general-purpose formulas and should not be used as the basis for a purchase, installation or financing decision without project-specific data from a qualified installer or the vehicle manufacturer.
Savings Lab tools
The whole-home budget, upgrade payback and time-of-use shift calculators model variable electricity cost only. They exclude standing charges, taxes, network fees, appliance lifespan, installation cost, financing and non-energy factors. A short payback period or an apparent saving shown by these tools is not, by itself, a recommendation to buy, switch tariff or replace an appliance.
